Bethel University’s campus is in Mishawaka, Indiana, adjacent to South Bend, the state’s fourth-largest city. A vibrant arts, entertainment, and recreation scene has always flourished in the South Bend-Mishawaka-Elkhart metropolitan area.

  • Several shopping and dining establishments as well as the University Park Mall and Heritage Square are located just north of campus, while Mishawaka’s landmark Riverwalk, with views of the St. Joseph River, is within two miles to the south.
  • Throughout the year, leading national acts perform at South Bend’s Morris Performing Arts Center and Notre Dame’s DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.
  • The South Bend Cubs, the AAA affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, play at Four Winds Field near South Bend’s Renaissance District.
  • We are also within an hour’s drive of Lake Michigan beaches, where you can shop and relax.

Life Granville
“Mentoring at Bethel has meant everything to me. I was a baby Christian when I arrived on campus, and through mentorship from professors, coaches, and even bosses and administration, I have seen God take the wisdom from older people who have a heart to truly disciple and see me take the Kingdom further or different areas of influence that they could not have reached.”

“Spiritual life at Bethel has shown me that a walk with Christ can be loving, fun, exciting, painful, sad, depressing, and everything in between. I am wrestling and learning that God wants every bit of us, not just the parts that are "stage worthy" or highlights that make for good social media posts. My mentors here at Bethel have poured into me continually for the past three years through some of the darkest and most joyful seasons of life. I have learned that God loves me as His own and that He will take care of my every need, even if it's one class at a time.”
