Join us in raising $135,000 to remove financial barriers for Bethel students!

“Bethel Donors have made it possible for me to attend a school that focuses on my social, emotional, and spiritual growth, not just my academic success. Because of Bethel donors, I can make my learning a priority without worrying about my financial status, and I can enjoy the lifelong effects of my higher education.”
Michaela Hanger, Junior

How does your gift help students?

“Provided a way for me to stay at Bethel after unforeseen circumstances. Through the generosity of others I was able to pursue my education here walking in the plan that God wanted me to. Because I was able to stay at Bethel, I went on a task force trip where God nudged me to change my major. I am now walking in that path, graduating in May with the hopes of going to further my education.”
Matilyn Jones, Senior

Giving FAQs

Why do I get more than one letter asking for support throughout the year?

Selected mailings to donors who have made gifts throughout the year are designed as a thank you or updates for the Bethel Fund. An opportunity for making a new gift is always provided because many prefer to make smaller gifts throughout the year rather than one large gift – every one of your gifts matter!

Based on if you’re an alumni and your degree or special interests, you may also receive solicitations from other campus area groups. Our goal, however, is to strive to coordinate timing of various fundraising efforts within the University.

How do I specify support?

You can choose from a short list of the most urgent general fund needs provided on each piece of mail you receive or on our giving form. Most gifts to the Bethel Fund go directly to student scholarships. Unrestricted gifts are the best way to provide support for the changing priorities in any financial budget, so if you would like to make a larger gift for a special program or project at Bethel University, please call the Institutional Advancement Office at 574.807.7485.

How do matching gifts work?

If your company has a matching gift program, your gift to Bethel University may be doubled or even tripled. Forms are usually available from your human resources department. If you are not sure whether or not a particular company matches gifts, please call us at 574.807.7485. Matching gifts from your employer will be credited towards your level of giving.

I don’t live in the United States. Can I still give?

Yes – you can still give here!

What is the President’s Circle Giving Society, and how can I join?

Members are included in the President’s Circle when they give $1,000 or more in a 12-month period.
