Bethel’s School Administrator Licensure prepares educators for leadership roles through a 20-credit curriculum and a guided internship. With six start dates, seven-week courses and the option to finish in as little as one year, you’ll build skills in finance, law, ethics, personnel and school–community relations.

School Administrator Licensure
Bethel’s School Administrator Licensure offers a focused, career-ready pathway for educators moving into leadership. The 20-credit plan includes 17 credits of classroom coursework and a 3-credit internship, with six annual start dates and seven-week courses. This licensure helps you in developing strengths in budgeting, policy and law, ethics, personnel and community engagement.

The Internship in School Administration requires 220 hours to be completed in two semesters. The hours must be completed at two of three levels: elementary, middle or high school.

- A 220-hour internship across two school levels (145 hours at one level; 75 at a second)
- Applied learning in school finance and budgeting, policy and legal perspectives, ethics and personnel/staff development
- Training to build strong school–community relations and accountability systems
- Mentored leadership practice that translates directly to building- and district-level roles
Obtaining a License in Another State:
Indiana participates in a license reciprocity compact with most states. If you hold a valid Indiana license, obtaining a license elsewhere is often straightforward. First obtain your Indiana license, then review the specific requirements of the state where you seek licensure, as coursework, testing or GPA expectations may differ.
