Interdisciplinary Studies, B.A., A.A.

Bethel’s online A.A. or B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies empowers you to design a degree that fits your unique interests and career goals. Choose three concentration areas such as Business, Behavioral and Social Sciences, Ministry/Christian Leadership, Psychology, Sociology, Communications or Cybersecurity and build a personalized academic path.

Program Highlights: 

  • Customize your degree by selecting three concentration areas, each with courses sharing the same prefix code.
  • Complete at least 12 credit hours at the 300 or 400 level within your major.
  • Transfer credits from other accredited institutions may be applied to concentration areas, but the final 30 credit hours must be completed at Bethel University.
  • At least 18 credit hours must be taken at Bethel and applied to your chosen concentrations.
  • Concentration options include Business, Behavioral and Social Sciences, Ministry/Christian Leadership (Bible, Ministry, Theology), Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Cybersecurity and select Computer Science courses.

Degree Structure: 

  • 15 credit hours in a primary concentration area
  • 9 credit hours in a secondary concentration area
  • 9 credit hours in a third concentration area

Graduates of the Interdisciplinary Studies program are prepared for careers in:

  • Cybersecurity and technology support
