Lyndon Tschetter ’73 is someone who knows about value. As Vice President of Operations at Remote Controls, Inc., he has made a career out of noticing and developing value in people.
As Vice President of Operations at Remote Controls, Inc., he has made a career out of noticing and developing value in people. One more thing about Lyndon – he doesn’t usually go by Lyndon. To those who know him well, he is “Chet.” And those who call him Chet will also tell you that he questions the WHY and the VALUE of everything.
“That explains why my favorite scripture is Philippians 2,” Chet said. “Paul begins with an ‘if’ statement. That implies that ‘if not’; none of what he says applies to you! But when ‘if’ does apply, ‘then’ becomes an imperative. DO THIS!”
Chet was influenced in positive ways at Bethel which changed his life forever. His friends and professors met him in meaningful ways that encourage him to continue to give back to support students today. He feels strongly that “if” you have been impacted positively, “then” you must pay it forward.
“Give a little or give a lot but GIVE something. If dead fish can be multiplied when God is involved, He can do the same with dimes and dollars today.”
