John Njihia ’25 is a double major in nursing and worship arts who recorded the song “MOSAIC (I Have Decided) as part of the “Altars” album in Nashville, Tenn.
“I really love getting to work alongside people, especially to develop music. Because music, at least for me, has always been a language that I have that I can speak to anybody, no matter where they come from or their background.”
A native of Nigeria, John chose Bethel because of its strong faith fit and family connections. He hopes to one day serve on the mission field, combining his passions for nursing and music to use medicine to heal the body and music to heal the soul.
“I want to serve people not only through like medicine but also through music. And so using the gifts of music to serve people’s souls as well as using medicine as a way to bring healing to people’s bodies.”
