Bethel University will host an American Sign Language Visit Day on Friday, September 26. High School students interested in studying sign language interpreting are invited to join us for an exciting day with Bethel’s American Sign Language and Interpreting Department (ASLID). During this visit, students will meet ASLID faculty, staff and students; experience a campus tour; participate in an immersive ASL setting; and enjoy pizza and games. Registration closes Sept. 24.
“This is such a great opportunity for students who are interested in Sign Language Interpreting to get a true taste of what that looks like in a college setting,” says Laura Polhemus, Ph.D., assistant professor and interpreting program director.
Bethel University is one of only three colleges in Indiana with an interpreting program. Learn more, and sign up today! ASL Day | Bethel University.
