Bethel University Fine Arts invites you to our annual Christmas concert, Hallelujah Here Below, to celebrate in and reflect on all the hallelujahs of the season! Performances are Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The word “hallelujah” seems to permeate the air in December. From Handel’s Messiah making appearances everywhere you turn (even in the Charlie Brown Christmas Special) to the CCM artist smorgasbord of Christmas worship tunes that center around the word, “hallelujah” is not a word that would be considered abnormal this time of year. And yet, how often do we truly lean in and experience the hallelujahs in the quiet spaces, the normalcy of our day-to-day, and even the silent nights?
Bethel’s annual welcome to the Christmas season features the Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra, Voices of Triumph, Bethel Worship Collective, Concert Choir and a 40-member community children/youth choir. This Christmas concert is an event for the whole family!
The concert will be held in the Everest-Rohrer Auditorium. The 7:30 p.m. performance will be an ASL-interpreted performance, and doors will open 30 minutes before each curtain time. There will also be a 15-minute intermission.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors. They can be purchased below or by calling the box office at 574.807.7080.
Nativity Exhibit in the Weaver Art Gallery
