Bethel’s M.A. in Ministry program features a rigorous curriculum designed to foster deep spiritual growth and biblical literacy. You’ll explore essential topics such as spiritual formation, biblical interpretation, systematic theology and multicultural ministry. With a strong emphasis on proficiency in biblical texts, our program requires a wide range of Bible courses by preparing you for effective, informed leadership in diverse ministry settings. The 36-credit-hour program includes both required courses and electives, allowing you to tailor your studies to your calling.

Required Courses (36 Credits):

  • Christian Ministry Coursework (CHMN) – 18 Credit Hours
  • Biblical Studies Coursework (BBST) – 9 Credit Hours
  • Theological Studies Coursework (THEO) – 9 Credit Hours

Graduates are prepared for roles such as:

  • Pastor or Associate Pastor
  • Ministry Director or Coordinator
  • Youth or Children’s Ministry Leader
  • Chaplain (hospital, military, prison, or corporate)
  • Nonprofit or Missions Leader
  • Christian Educator or Discipleship Coordinator
