Your December Advantage
Dec. 1 is an important milestone on your path to becoming a Bethel University Pilot. Take these next steps by Dec. 1 to earn December Advantage scholarships:
- $500 Accept Bonus: Eligible students must be accepted to Bethel by Dec. 1, 2026.
- $500 FAFSA Bonus: Eligible students must complete the FAFSA by Dec. 1, 2026.
Students who qualify for both can receive up to $1,000 total for the 2027-28 academic year.
What Will Your Swag Bag Look Like?
Each winner will receive the same collection of Bethel favorites with different backpack and hat color combinations.
Whether your Swag Bag is blue, gray or a little of both, you’ll be ready to show your Pilot pride.
Giveaway Details
Who is eligible?
Students who apply to a Fall 2027 full-time Traditional undergraduate program at Bethel University by Dec. 1, 2026.
What if I already applied?
You’re already entered. Eligible students who submitted their Fall 2027 application before the giveaway began are included in the drawings.
How are winners selected?
One winner will be randomly selected for each drawing on Nov. 13, Nov. 20, Nov. 27 and Dec. 4.
What happens if I win?
We’ll contact you to confirm your mailing address. If a selected winner does not respond within three business days, another winner may be selected.
Can I win more than once?
No. Students may win only one Swag Bag.
Do likes, shares or tags give me additional entries?
No. Social media engagement does not provide additional official entries. Your qualifying Fall 2027 application is your entry.
Giveaway Fine Print
- No purchase is necessary to enter.
- Students must apply to a Fall 2027 full-time Traditional undergraduate program at Bethel University by Dec. 1, 2026.
- Students who submitted a qualifying Fall 2027 application before the giveaway began are also eligible.
- Four prize winners will be randomly selected.
- One winner will be selected on Nov. 13, Nov. 20, Nov. 27 and Dec. 4, 2026.
- Each winner will receive one Bethel Swag Bag.
- Students may win only one prize.
- Prize item colors and combinations may vary.
- Winners will be contacted to confirm their mailing address.
- If a selected winner does not respond within three business days, another winner may be selected.
- Participation in the drawing means that you agree to be contacted by and receive information from Bethel University.
- Social media engagement, including likes, shares and tags, does not provide additional official entries.
- Bethel University reserves the right to modify or discontinue the giveaway as necessary.
December Advantage Scholarship Terms
- Both scholarships of $500 each are one-time one-year scholarships that cannot be repeated.
- Both scholarships of $500 must be awarded for the 2027-2028 academic year.
- Eligible students must be accepted to Bethel by December 1 to receive the $500 Accept Bonus
- Eligible students must complete the FAFSA by December 1 to receive the $500 FAFSA Bonus
- The scholarship may not be transferred, assigned, sold, or given to another student or individual.
- The scholarship may not be converted to cash or paid directly to the student
- The scholarship, when combined with other Bethel University institutional scholarships, federal, and state grants, may not exceed the student’s eligible tuition and required fees.
- Scholarships awarded to athletes or recipients of other departmental awards, are subject to change at coach’s or department’s discretion.
