Bethel University women’s golf team and coaches pose with the 2026 NCCAA National Champion banner and trophy after winning the national championship.

Bethel Women’s Golf won the NCCAA National Championship with a three-round team total of 953, finishing five strokes ahead of Ottawa University Arizona and Wayland Baptist, who tied for second at 958. The Pilots trailed Wayland Baptist by four strokes after two rounds, then posted a final-round 322 to pass both teams. Ellie Webster led Bethel with a tie for fourth at 235, and all five Pilots finished in the top 14.

Bethel opened with a team score of 314, three strokes behind Wayland Baptist’s 311, and sat second. Dyer led the Pilots with a 76, tied for the second-lowest round of the day. Webster and Bishop each shot 79, and Aigner added an 80 to complete Bethel’s four counting scores. OUAZ opened at 330 and Grace at 332.

The Pilots shot 317 in the second round, with Webster’s 78 the team’s low round. Dymott’s 79 and 80s from Bishop and Aigner rounded out the scoring. Wayland Baptist posted a 316 to stretch its lead to four strokes, 627 to 631. OUAZ had the best round of the day at 312 but remained 11 strokes behind Bethel.

Bethel’s 322 in the final round, led again by Webster’s 78, was nine strokes better than Wayland Baptist’s 331 and was enough to take the lead. Dymott shot 80, Bishop 81, and Aigner 83. OUAZ closed with a 316, the low team round of the final day, but finished five strokes back.

“I couldn’t be more proud of the way we battled the last three days. We had our sights set on defending this title the whole fall and along the way had a record breaking season, but we just couldn’t put it all together this week. But our depth and experience paid off as all five players came up big in moments when we needed them.

“I’m so happy for our All-Americans Ellie and Megan, and am just amazed at how  this team competes and finds a way when things get tight,” said Head Coach Christopher Hess. “The NCCAA delivers a national tournament experience that is second to none and we are honored to be the national champion of an organization that puts Christ at the center of college athletics. To God be all the glory.”
